Accounts preparation, tax returns and payroll in Caterham, Surrey

Our team help you to meet your compliance deadlines so that you can plan effectively for any tax liabilities and ensure that the correct taxes are reported and paid to HMRC.

Statutory Accounts Preparation

All limited companies must prepare and file statutory accounts at Companies House, alongside a corporation tax return. We ensure that your accounts get completed in the most cost-effective manner while adhering to the various legal regulations to keep you fully compliant.

Self Assessment Tax Returns

Getting your tax return wrong can have serious legal and financial implications – nearly one million taxpayers pay fines each year and we don’t want you to be one of them! We make sure you get it right and pay the right amount of tax – the lowest legal amount.
As tax specialists, we will also inform you on all aspects of tax, including:

  • Personal tax
  • Partnerships and LLPs
  • Income Tax
  • Capital Gains Tax
  • Inheritance Tax
  • Trusts

Payroll can be time consuming and complicated, but it doesn’t need to be. We can manage your company payroll on your behalf leaving you and your team free to focus on your core business functions.
We will ensure you receive your payslips on time, and we maintain responsibility for keeping up-to-date with payroll software and the regulations.
We will also manage all the necessary tasks to ensure you are set up and compliant with workplace pensions (auto-enrolment).

VAT returns can seem like a complete pain, with complex regulations adding a tremendous administrative burden to your business.
We help you with all aspects of VAT including:

  • VAT registration
  • VAT de-registration
  • Advice on VAT schemes
  • Making Tax Digital
  • MTD Compliant software
  • VAT inspections
  • VAT returns
  • Timing VAT payments
With VAT penalties being so high, mistakes can prove costly. We offer the peace-of-mind that you are both fully compliant, and you have the greatest VAT advantage on your transactions.

ATOL Reporting

ATOL (Air Travel organiser’s licence) licence holders need an Accountant who is qualified as an ATOL Reporting Accountant, to submit ATOL Accountants’ Reports to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The CAA developed the ATOL Reporting Accountants’ scheme to help improve the standard of ATOL reporting and to provide assurance that any financial information submitted to them is accurate. They designed the scheme to ensure that accountants are sufficiently knowledgeable about the travel industry as well as the specific requirements of the ATOL scheme.
We are delighted to be ATOL reporting accountants working with companies in the travel industry and would be happy to discuss your particular needs and challenges.

What our clients say…

Many thanks for this and, moreover, for your unfailing politeness and efficiency each year despite the annual provocation of my general disorganisation, chronic ‘last-minutism’ and erratic responses to email and phone calls. You must be a consummate professional to deal with someone like me without ever revealing a hint of annoyance.

Chantal has the most fantastic attitude and has always been on hand to answer any questions to do with my company and personal accounts, highly recommend her and the team at Champs!ess of the ground.

I just wanted to thank you for your help this month, and all the months, your efficiency is incredible.
